We were all busy this weekend preparing and decorating for a candlelit couples banquet. 

Every one of us enjoyed creating and serving a gourmet meal.

Yes, we can truly say the evening was a success!

Weekend in pictures

Last Saturday the Team drove up to Traverse City to play for a wedding reception.

The reception hall had great windows behind the stage, where you 

could look out across the bay of Lake Michigan. Unfortunately, we

 don't have a picture that shows the view outside. 

We got to play a wide variety of bluegrass-style hymns.

We included a couple of our favorite slower hymns, too.

How does one drive all that way and only look at the lake from a window? 

When our duties were over, we walked across the road to the beach. :)

Rebekah

-lead, tenor, and alto singer-

Rebekah has a calm, easy-going spirit. She can see when there is

 a need to serve, and is quick to take on that responsibility. 

She enjoys taking a quick trip to the swingset between practicing songs.

And a splash of hot pink is sure to make her smile!

Two more members of the Team have been struck with the bug.

Joe Miller (former guitarist) and Gina Bontrager (current keyboardist) are now officially in a courtship! I'm sure they are using their cellphones quite frequently due to the many miles between here and Pennsylvania.

Spreading Virus

There is an epidemic going around, and young people around the US are struggling to keep from catching it. Two new cases have been reported recently in Michigan

and Pennsylvania. The bug seems to be spreading quite rapidly, and there is no known prevention.

Stop it from spreading!! Aghh!!!!

*choke*

(Check Walgreens.com in case a new shot comes out

so far it hasn't been able to be contained) 

Test yourself for this dangerous disease, and keep away from those with the virus so as to keep it from spreading.
